14 — AI Crypto Honeypot (To Detect User Data Leaks)

I don’t really trust chat apps, so I built a $20 honeypot to test the 10 top chat apps (ChatGPT, Deepseek, etc.) for user data leaks. Here’s how I did it:

1. Created 10 crypto wallets on an airgapped MacBook.

2. Funded each with $2 Solana—tempting bait for theft bots.

3. Dropped one wallet’s seed phrase into a casual chat with each AI.

4. Built a web app to watch the wallets (no dull status pages here — I had some fun with this one)

5. If a wallet’s drained, I’ll know which AI can’t keep a secret (key).

13 — FEMA Go Bag Builder

I built a free tool that generates a FEMA-approved go bag shopping list, loads it into your Amazon cart, and lets you skip items you already own—so you only buy what you need. I am close to the LA and San Diego wildfires, so I put my personal fieldcraft experience into building a helpful tool.

12 — Neighborhoods As Party Guests

This is a fun app to test AI’s knowledge of local knowledge and realtime neighborhood drama. The loading bar was surprisingly the biggest challenge — the API calls didn’t enable a smooth, predictable loading bar. So I opted instead for a humorous approach — it slowly comes alive while the progress bar fills up, then empties, then repeats on loop until the API data comes in. Note: As a challenge, I didn’t open the code panel of Replit for this. 100% vibe coding through the agent.

11 — Interactive MidJourney Noun/Style Explorer

This is an interactive image explorer with 8 subjects crossed with 8 styles. Users either view all 8 subjects in 1 style (”dreamy”) or 1 subject in all 8 styles (”car”). They can select one of the 8 images to stay the same through the swap, acting like a hinge between noun and style.
